Texas Medicaid Waivers
Texas has 7 waivers that use Medicaid funds for long-term home and community-based services for people with disabilities. Parents are encouraged to place their Child's name on as many lists as possible. The waitlist can be up to 15 years long.
Waivers are managed by the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) and the Department of State Health Services (DSHS)
