Senior Chief Elizondo retired from the US Navy in February of 2020. He served for 24 years and was honorably retired. He served on various ships and commands in Texas and California.

He has three children. His son Bruno enlisted in the Navy and is stationed in San Diego, California.

His daughter Ariana is at San Diego University on a NROTC Scholarship with a major in Engineering. His son Diego is a student at FHS in the NJROTC program and his wife Yonia is a 1st grade teacher at the Primary School.

He is from Mission, Texas. His parents, brother and sisters still live in Mission, TX. His wife's family are up north in the DFW area. The family enjoys taking trips across the state to visit family by going up north or down south on a regular basis.
