Hi! My name is Mrs. Christi Sumners! This will be my 12th year teaching at Stonewall Elementary.

I am blessed to have a close family.  I have Gus who is in 5th grade here at Stonewall and Mary Jane who is in second grade.  My parents recently moved here. My mom grew up in Stonewall and she is happy to be back.  We are members of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Fredericksburg. 

I grew up in San Antonio, Texas where I attended Oak Grove Elementary, Garner Middle School, and MacArthur High School. I then attended Texas A&M University and graduated in Interdisciplinary Studies with a Reading and Math Specialization.  I taught second grade for 9 years in San Antonio for the North East Independent School District at Oak Grove Elementary and Harmony Hills Elementary.
