I have been a teacher for the past fifteen years in Puerto Rico and Texas. I taught History and Special Education in middle and high schools in Puerto Rico. When I moved to Texas in 2014, I began working in Fredericksburg ISD as Instructional Aide at AEP helping students with the daily work sent by teachers over there. From 2015 to 2017, I worked at FHS as Inclusion Teacher in the History classes. Currently, I am the ESL Teacher of all Emergent Bilingual students at FHS. Also, I track the academic performance of the EB students and have communication with their parents when it is needed. Working with my EB students has made me a better teacher and a person; and every day is a challenge that my students and I are able to accept.
