I was raised here in Fredericksburg and I am so excited to get to teach in my hometown! I am a 2006 graduate of Fredericksburg High School. After high school, I attended Texas Tech University. I taught Head Start and Early Head Start in Lubbock for 3 1/2 years before we moved back to Fredericksburg in 2014. Since my return, I taught a a local early Head Start for about 2 years and then I worked for the local ECI program for about 3 years. I then worked as a coordinator for the Head Start program before returning to the classroom here FISD as the Pre-K 3 teacher.

My husband and I have 2 sons who attend school at FISD, one at primary school and one at elementary school. They have a variety of interests, so when I am not teaching I am learning about what they enjoy which ranges from superheroes and robots to fishing and treasure hunting. As a family, we enjoy exploring the countryside and going on adventures. You never know where we will end up! 

I am looking forward to an amazing year with my students!
