Welcome to the new school year! I am excited to start my 29th year of teaching. I have taught many different subjects in many different schools from Kindergarten through 8th grade, but my favorite is math. I really enjoyed math in high school, but it was a bit challenging to me when I was younger. It's my hope that I can help all of my students grow in their math abilities, become better people, and learn to love math even if it's just a little bit more!
I grew up in Fredericksburg, Texas and was so happy when we moved back 11 years ago so I could raise my family here too! I am married to a middle school teacher and coach and have 2 sons. My oldest son graduated from Texas State University and is working in the restaurant industry and the other is a junior at Texas Tech University pursuing a degree in Kinesiology.
