Teaching reading is what I love to do!!!!

I am the Dyslexic therapist at the Fredericsksburg Elementary School serving 2nd through 5th grade.  Last year I was the Dyslexic therapist at Fredericksburg Middle School for 6th through 8th grade.  Previously I taught 6th Grade ELA and reading intervention to 6th through 8th grade at the middle school.  My other teaching experience includes 1st through 5th grade and a Dyslexic therapist.

I graduated from Texas Lutheran University, B.A., and Concordia University, M.A..  I am Gifted and Talented and English As a Second Language certified.  I completed dyslexic training through Neuhaus Center in Houston and currently trained in Reading by Design through the Region Education Center in Austin.

My family includes, my husband, Rob, who enjoys working outside and tending to all of our animals.  Both of my children, Matt and Kate, are currenly attending Texas A & M.  Whoop!

I enjoy watching Aggie Football, working in my garden and watching my chickens.  I love traveling off the beaten trail and sitting beside a window curled up with a great book!!
