    HEB SPORTS IN ACTION SCHOLARSHIP- Scholarship for Texas Athletic, Music and Academic Participants. You must be a current Texas high school senior graduating in 2023 with a minimum 3.3 GPA, have participated in a UIL competition as a high school student and have been active in community service programs or events. DEADLINE- FEBRUARY 3, 2023

    COMMUNITY FOUNDATION OF THE TEXAS HILL COUNTRY SCHOLARSHIP - Apply online. The application is a universal application that needs to be completed only one time. Based on the eligibility rules of each scholarship and responses to the application, you will automatically be considered for all scholarships for which you are eligible.  See website for a list of scholarships available specifically for Fredericksburg High School seniors and more information.     SAN ANTONIO AREA FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP- Apply online. The following scholarships are available to Gillespie Co. seniors: Express News Charitable Foundation, Feeding Student Success, Firstmark/ Cunningham, Robert B. Taylor, Teresa and David R.     CAPITAL FARM CREDIT SCHOLARSHIP- Awarded to seniors pursuing a degree in an agricultural or natural resources related field of study. DEADLINE- MARCH 4, 2023

    SAN ANGELO STOCK SHOW & RODEO SCHOLARSHIP- Students receiving scholarships participate as members of 4-H and FFA programs, demonstrating the Association's anchored belief in these important youth programs. Recipients of these scholarships will attend an accredited Texas university, college, or technical school. See website for application. DEADLINE- MARCH 10, 2023

    GILLESPIE COUNTY A&M CLUB SCHOLARSHIP- This application is for graduating high school seniors in Gillespie County, Texas who are accepted as a student at Texas A&M University in College Station, Galveston, or Qatar in the fall of 2023. This scholarship application will be submitted electronically. DEADLINE- MARCH 15, 2023

    FREDERICKSBURG ROTARY CLUB SCHOLARSHIP- Applicant must be a Gillespie County Resident or attend a Gillespie County School. DEADLINE- MARCH 20, 2023

    FHS BILLIE BOOSTER CLUB SCHOLARSHIP- Applicant must have completed a minimum of two semesters at FHS, participated in FHS athletics and has complied with the FHS Code of Conduct. See application for more criteria. DEADLINE- 4 p.m. MARCH 21, 2023

    BOOT RANCH COMMUNITY SCHOLARSHIP- Available to FHS seniors who have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. DEADLINE- MARCH 24, 2023

    BOOT RANCH TOMMY HALE MEMOIRAL SCHOLARSHIP- Available to senior golfers from Fredericksburg or Harper with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. DEADLINE- MARCH 24, 2023

    COACH WICKER'S BATTLIN' BILLIE SCHOLARSHIP- This memorial scholarship will be awarded to a FHS senior that encompasses and demonstrates the positive characteristics that participation in school activities promote. DEADLINE- MARCH 27, 2023

    FLORA WERTHEIM SCHOLARSHIP- You must provide a 1000 - 1500 word essay about the general sweep of Fredericksburg history.  See website for more information. DEADLINE- MARCH 31, 2023

    JUNIOR GOLF FOUNDATION OF FREDERICKSBURG SCHOLARSHIP- The Junior Golf Foundation of Fredericksburg offers a higher education scholarship to girls and boys in Gillespie County who have played competitive golf on their high school golf team or in the South Texas PGA Amateur Tournament Program/West Texas Junior Championship Tour during their junior and senior years. DEADLINE- MARCH 31, 2023

    TEXAS TELEPHONE ASSOCIATION FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP- Special consideration will be given to students who will be pursuing a college degree in fields of study which are of particular interest to telecommunications (such as math, business, education, technology, engineering, and computer science, etc.)  See application for eligibility criteria.     ZONTA CLUB OF FREDERICKSBURG- Applicant must be a female high-school senior or older and a resident of Gillespie County. DEADLINE- MARCH 31, 2023

    TRUDY ANDERSON MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP- Applicant must be in the top 10% of his/her class and be attending a state-supported junior college or four-year university. DEADLINE- APRIL 6, 2023

    GILLESPIE COUNTY FARM BUREAU SCHOLARSHIP- Seniors whose families are members of GCFB may apply. Recipient must maintain a continued pursuit towards an agricultural or rural related degree plan. See application for more information.  DEADLINE- APRIL 7, 2023

    ST MARYS CATHOLIC CHURCH SCHOLARSHP- Knights of Columbus, St. Ann's Society, St. Joseph's Society and Catholic Daughters offering scholarships to Gillepie County high school seniors who are practicing Catholics, and are planning to enter a college, university or vocational/trade school in the fall. DEADLINE- APRIL 13, 2023


    GILLESPIE COUNTY DEMOCRATIC ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP- The GCDA process requires that each interested student request an application by email. See the scholarship guidelines for more information. DEADLINE- APRIL 14, 2023

    HILL COUNTRY BUILDERS ASSOCIATION/ CASA UBER ALLES SCHOLARSHIP- To qualify, applicants must be a FHS student and plan to pursue post-secondary and/or workforce apprenticeship training in the construction industry. DEADLINE- APRIL 14, 2023

    ORGANIZATION OF LATINO ACTUARIES SCHOLARSHIP- Open to all Latine high school seniors who will be enrolled in a 2 or 4 year program this fall. There are no GPA or major/minor requirements for most OLA programs, but students should demonstrate interest and/or commitment to pursue the actuarial profession. DEADLINE- APRIL 15, 2023

    HILL COUNTRY ANTIQUE TRACTOR & ENGINE CLUB SCHOLARSHIP- Applicants must be majoring in or seeking certification in agriculture or a closely related field. See application for more information.  DEADLINE- MAY 13, 2023

    TEXAS FEDERATION OF REPUBLICAN WOMEN- Applicant must be a woman with U.S. citizenship, resident of Texas for at least 2 years, be registered to vote, completed 12 hours of study at the undergraduate level, have a GPA of 2.5 or 75%. See applications for more information. DEADLINE- MAY 20, 2023

    FLORES TAWNEY ACOSTA SCHOLARSHIP- Applicants must be EITHER outgoing high school seniors (graduating summer 2023) OR students currently enrolled in a college, trade school, or university as of the start of the fall 2023 semester. Apply online and include an essay. DEADLINE- JULY 30, 2023

    OIL FIELD SAFETY EDUCATION AND POLICY SCHOLARSHIP- Applicants must be either outgoing high school seniors (graduation summer 2023) OR students currently enrolled in a college, trade school, or university as of the start of fall 2023 semester. Apply online and include an essay. DEADLINE- AUG. 1, 2023 

    CHARLES BUTT SCHOLARSHIP- To be eligible for the scholarship, students must be committed to teaching in a Texas public school that is majority-economically disadvantaged school (meaning more than 50% of students are eligible for free or reduced lunch) or in a shortage subject area (specifically math, science, bilingual, or special education).     MURRAY WATSON, JR SCHOLARSHIP- Scholarships are awarded to Texas residents based on a candidate's academic performance, financial need, readiness and commitment to study, plus other considerations. Applicants may only apply once in an academic year (defined as Aug.-Jul.)
