  • School Nutrition Services recognizes the strong relationship between nutrition and learning. To support this relationship, School Nutrition Services seeks to provide nutritious meals that are made from quality products and are acceptable to students.

    The cafeteria offers a prepayment plan in all schools. Meals and a la carte items may be purchased with this plan. Any amount may be deposited into the student's account and the balance is reduced each time an item is purchased. Payments can be made by cash or check at the school cafeteria or by credit/debit card online at MySchoolBucks.com. A small convenience fee is charged for credit/debit card transactions.

    You can check your student's account balance or set up low balance alerts at MySchoolBucks.com. There is no charge for this service.

    Your children may be eligible for the Free and Reduced Price Meal Program. Applications are available online at MySchoolApps.com.

     

  • Summer Meals!

    FISD once again will be sponsoring the Summer Meal Program (SFSP) which provides meals at no cost to children and teens 18 years old and younger.  Below is information regarding this year’s schedule.

     Dates and Times:  Monday thru Thursday, 11:30 AM-12:00 PM, thru July 15.

    Where:  Curbside meal pick-up is at FMS (where the buses pick up and drop off).

    What kind of food?:  Breakfast and Lunch will be packaged together (breakfast is intended for the next day).  Lunch is kid friendly, chicken nuggets, hamburgers, corndogs, Steak Fingers, Sub Sandwiches, etc.

     Do Students have to be present?:  No, FISD requested a waiver so that Parents or Guardians can pick up meals for their children.  If the children are not present, they will need an ID, report card or something that documents eligible children.  We will then put that information on a meal card so that all they need to do is leave the card in their car and show it each time they come to pick up meals.  Also, children can walk up or ride their bicycle to get a meal.
